Young Professionals Committee

SEI advances the structural engineering profession through the activities of its four divisions:
Business and Professional Activities Division (BPAD)- Executive Committee
Promotes change in business ad professional development issues unique to the structural engineering profession including SE licensing, Building Information Modeling, etc...
Codes and Standards Activities Division (CSAD) - Executive Committee
Through its more than 27 committees, develops and maintains leading design standards that are used worldwide such as ASCE 7.
Local Activies Division (LAD) - Executive Committee
Provides technical and professional services to local SEI Chapters and Structural Technical Groups.
Technical Activities Division (TAD) - Executive Committee
Advances the profession with the dedicated work of its 72 technical committees that produce technical papers and publications, organize the annual Structures Congress, and produce the Journal of Structural Engineering, the Journal of Bridge Engineering, and the Practice Periodical on Structural Design and Construction.
